Inside Asia: Prospects & Challenges

We are delighted to welcome you to London Business School's 4th annual Asia Business Forum.

Inside Asia: Prospects and Challenges, central theme for this year's Asia Business Forum, reflects on the next phase of opportunities and challenges that the region would face in the next decade. Having enjoyed relatively strong economic growth in the past decade, the Asian economies have slowly evolved and in the process certain notable trends and issues have emerged reflecting the region's transition as an important driver of the world economy. This forum takes a closer look on some of these issues.

  • Micro-finance: lessons from growth, prospects in crisis
  • Entrepreneurs: What they should know to succeed in Asia
  • Wealth management: Meteoric rise. Financial turmoil. International scrutiny. This dynamic industry has seen it all. Where next?
  • Asian Economy: Life after Crisis

Recognizing the heterogeneity and the diverse country mix that Asia represents, this year's forum also bring together select speakers from business, academia, media, and government across Asia and the UK to provide a pan-Asian view on the issues that would be discussed. This forum would also discuss the impacts coming from the recent financial turmoil on these issues and also the opportunity to hear our speakers' perspective on this financial crisis.

Join us on Thursday, 21 May 2009 as we explore Inside Asia and engage in a lively discussion with our invited speakers. We look forward in welcoming you for this event.
